“I hope you don’t make the mistakes I made — unhealthy eating habits, lack of exercise and vices such as smoking. With few lifestyle changes, heart related problems can be prevented. Do yourself a favor — go to the doctor and get yourself checked.” See here.

My father had the same bad habits – unhealthy eating habits and lack of exercise. he also smoked for the first forty years of his life.
Consequently, he died far too young and never did get to see his only grandson.

I completely agree. I made a change about a year ago, and although I still occasionally eat food I know I shouldn’t, I have cut way back on that. I used to eat Fast Food every week, usually multiple times each week. Now, it’s few and far between and hopefully some day soon it will be never again. I don’t even like to smell them as I am driving by anymore.

Until about 6 months ago I didn’t think much about eating fast food or taking my young son to McDonalds a few times a week. I started thinking about how I never felt good, always taking Alka Seltzer and not having energy to play with my son. I decided I wanted to be more involved with my son so I changed my diet. Now I don’t even like Fast Food and can not eat it. I feel like a good Mom again and plan to be around for a long time for my family.
